A community benefit organization headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Green Building Alliance (GBA) was founded in 1993 and was the first U.S. Green Building Council affiliate. GBA services all of Western PA and is comprised of three distinct Branch areas:

  • Greater Pittsburgh
  • Laurel Highlands
  • Northwest PA

A regional catalyst, GBA strives to meet the ever-growing and changing demands of the green building marketplace through multiple programs and initiatives.

GBA strives to ensure that everyone from every socioeconomic background is able to work, live, learn, and play in a healthy and high performing place.

GBA inspires the creation of healthy, high performing places for everyone by providing leadership that connects knowledge, transformative ideas, and collaborative action.
