What Green Building Alliance Does

Green Building Alliance is a non-profit organization devoted to helping western Pennsylvania find smart solutions for the built environment. We believe that green building just makes sense, and strive to integrate environmentally responsible, high performance green building practices into the design, construction and operation of buildings in western Pennsylvania.

Green Building Alliance is a non-profit organization that offers building professionals’ education and training in green building practices, research services and product development funding, and technical support for green building projects. In the community at large, we make the case for the economic benefits of green building and advocate for removing policy and code barriers to green building. We also work to make leadership in green building a key component of western Pennsylvania’s regional identity. We serve all of western Pennsylvania, with an office in Pittsburgh and branches in Erie and Laurel Highlands.
