Building Overview:

An 11,000 square foot high-end conference center and rare books facility, the Posner Center features the Kraus Campo on its roof, a unique garden and landscape sculpture. In addition to the university's green power contract, the Center reduces energy use by a projected 30%. All public spaces also have exterior views promoting extensive daylighting.

Sustainable Sites:

- Open space restored by building below grade and integrating the grade into the landscape
- Stormwater treated by filtering it through an average of 2 feet of earth (there are no roof drains)
- Site imperviousness decreased
